Currently, the biotech index stands at 15,810 points, down about 0.9%. Nearly half of the biotech index constituent stocks are declining against the market trend, among which Innovent Biologics (01801) fell 4.4%, to HK$95.3; Henlius Biotech (02696) dropped 3.7%, to HK$55.1; Kelun-Biotech (06990) declined 3%, to HK$453.2; Genscript Biotech (01548) fell 2.6%, to HK$41.82.

　　Currently, long-term U.S. bond yields remain at high levels. After the 30-year U.S. Treasury yield broke above 5.5% last Friday (25th), it has continued to hover around that level, currently at 5.52%, while the 10-year Treasury yield stands at 5.21%. Interest rate futures indicate that the market still expects a 72.3% chance of another 25 basis points rate hike in October.

　　Additionally, U.S. President Trump said in an interview that he rejected Iran's recent proposal to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, but expects U.S.-Iran talks to resume this week. (am)
