There were 801 short-selling stocks. TENCENT (00700) and BABA-W (09988) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$1.65 billion and HK$1.42 billion, or 7.2% and 6.2% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented 14.98% and 8.46% of respective stock's turnover.
XL2CSOPHYNIX (07709) and TRACKER FUND (02800) registered HK$1 billion and HK$981.62 million of short sales, accounting for 4.37% and 4.29% of the total short sales values respectively. The transactions represented 37.77% and 11.77% of respective stock's turnover.
