There were 823 short-selling stocks. XL2CSOPHYNIX (07709) and SMIC (00981) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$2.47 billion and HK$1.67 billion, or 9.85% and 6.68% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented 48.5% and 17.54% of respective stock's turnover.
TENCENT (00700) and TRACKER FUND (02800) registered HK$925.85 million and HK$844.1 million of short sales, accounting for 3.7% and 3.37% of the total short sales values respectively. The transactions represented 20.76% and 17.16% of respective stock's turnover.
