There were 863 short-selling stocks. CSOP HS TECH (03033) and XL2CSOPHYNIX (07709) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$4.51 billion and HK$4.08 billion, or 7.84% and 7.09% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented 47.17% and 41.02% of respective stock's turnover.
SMIC (00981) and TENCENT (00700) registered HK$2.74 billion and HK$2.65 billion of short sales, accounting for 4.76% and 4.61% of the total short sales values respectively. The transactions represented 17.37% and 15.89% of respective stock's turnover.
