U.S. President Trump said in an interview that he rejected Iran's recent proposal to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, but expects U.S.-Iran talks to resume this week. Earlier on Sunday (27th), Iran said it was awaiting a U.S. response to a proposal aimed at reopening the Strait of Hormuz within seven days, and stated it would not loosen its conditions after Trump rejected Iran's latest proposal.
Currently, the Hang Seng Index stands at 24,666, up 156 points or 0.6%, with near HK$119.5 billion traded on the main board. The Hang Seng China Enterprises Index is at 8,215, up 50 points or 0.6%. The Hang Seng Tech Index is at 4,296, down 15 points or 0.4%. (vs)
