HK$283.46 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$54.54 billion, or 19.24% of the
market's turnover. There were 828 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and HSCEI ETF
(02828) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$12.24 billion and HK$5.98
billion, or 22.44% and 10.97% of the total short sales value respectively. The
transactions represented 50.55% and 38.09% of respective stock's turnover.
CSOP HS TECH (03033) and PING AN (02318) registered HK$4.06 billion and HK$2.08 billion
of short sales, accounting for 7.44% and 3.81% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 48.23% and 37.69% of respective stock's
turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed down HK$0.02, or 0.08%, to HK$26.52. HSCEI ETF ended down HK$0.3, or
0.32%, to HK$93.66. CSOP HS TECH rose HK$0.01, or 0.18% to HK$5.62. PING AN jumped HK$1.8,
or 2.69%, to HK$68.6.
