billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$50.7 billion, or 19.38% of the market's
turnover. There were 824 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and POP MART (09992)
saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$4.41 billion and HK$4.06 billion, or
8.69% and 8.02% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented
37.52% and 26.42% of respective stock's turnover.
MEITUAN-W (03690) and XIAOMI-W (01810) registered HK$3.35 billion and HK$2.54 billion of
short sales, accounting for 6.61% and 5.01% of the total short sales values respectively.
The transactions represented 31.74% and 38.81% of respective stock's turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed down HK$0.52, or 2.03%, to HK$25.14. POP MART ended down HK$17.6, or
10.46%, to HK$150.7. MEITUAN-W fell HK$3.3, or 3.67% to HK$86.7. XIAOMI-W declined by
HK$0.08, or 0.25%, to HK$32.44.
