It hits an intra-day low of HK$3.58, rewriting a new 1-month low, and an intra-day high of HK$4.6. It triggered the Volatility Control Mechanism (VCM) at 11:29a.m., putting it on a 5-minute cooling-off period, with trading price range limiting between HK$3.05 and HK$4.11. The cooling-off period ends at 11:34a.m.
  RUSAL is a constituent of the Hang Seng Composite MidCap Index. When its share price fluctuates more than 15% compared to the last trading price five minutes ago, the VCM is triggered. VCM offers a cooling-off period of 5 minutes for the market and limits the trading price range. It then resumes normal trading. VCM is only applicable to the continuous trading session (CTS), excluding the first 15 minutes of the morning and afternoon trading session, and the last 15 minutes of the afternoon trading session.
