TRACKER FUND (02800) and TENCENT (00700) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$788.75 million and HK$356.01 million, or 11.78% and 5.32% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented 32.62% and 17.11% of respective stock's turnover.
ICBC (01398) and CSOP HS TECH (03033) registered HK$244.84 million and HK$236.49 million of short sales, accounting for 3.66% and 3.53% of the total short sales values respectively. The transactions represented 31.09% and 39.01% of respective stock's turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed up HK$0.08, or 0.43%, to HK$18.48. TENCENT ended up HK$3.2, or 0.84%, to HK$383.6. ICBC rose HK$0.04, or 0.88% to HK$4.6. CSOP HS TECH declined by HK$0.014, or 0.39%, to HK$3.606.
